For Lissette Schettini, her path as a fine artist and designer has been a lifelong creative journey.
After completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Lissette went on to earn a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture, where she combined her keen artist’s eye with her distinctive world view to create immersive exterior environments.
This visionary practice led Lissette to the film industry, where she has since worked as a notable Art Director and Set Designer for over 20 years. “I’m inspired that I have the ability to work in a field where creativity and originality are the means to tell great stories and I get to help tell those stories by creating environments”.
Lissette takes a multimedia approach to her creative process. Her exploration of materials and her passion for new mediums has allowed her the opportunity to design and build environments that reflect the lives of the characters within them.
Telltale signs of Lissette’s set design, graphic design or painting on a canvas can be found in her inspired use of graphic motifs, captured in an array of surfaces, texture and colors. Her original designs are fueled by artistic passion, curiosity and the constant pursuit of new forms. This perpetual desire to create has driven Lissette to launch Lissette Schettini Atelier in 2019.
Lissette currently resides in Los Angeles with a lively trio of dogs: Apple, Mabel and Samantha.
